As house builders, we work on small house extensions and extensive new builds. As project managers, we oversee the smooth running of these residential projects as well as taking the roll to larger developments and major contracts in York and the surrounding areas. These tasks can be carried out as an individual service as well.
It is advised you show excellent organisational skills along with evident competencies in communication, leadership, time management, and risk assessments.
Degrees in project management are available throughout a variety of educational institutions, along with supplementary courses and on-site training. Official certification for trainees is available through the Association of Project Managers (APM) or the Project Management Institute (PMI).
